Pursuing ultimate mountain performance is a never ending quest. The original FX Nytro MTX was dramatically lighter than the Apex MTX. Now the new Nytro MTX SE is even lighter. A host of new lightweight parts, such as an all new Pro Mountain Air rear suspension, replace many of the heavier steel parts. This enables the new FX Nytro MTX SE to out manoeuvre the old Nytro MTX. You could summarize all of the changes and direction for the FX Nytro MTX SE in two words-- "WEIGHT REDUCTION" Clearly both SE models have lost considerable weight, and those two words alone might be enough... if this wasn't a Yamaha. However, we believe that "light" isn't "right" if it means a compromise to reliability. In our quest for ultimate mountain performance we have dropped significant weight. But we simply refuse to cross the line, sacrificing our durability in the process. That means you can ride with confidence, knowing your MTX carries with it Yamaha's reputation for the building the best quality sleds, period. |
